Kraft Corrugated paper, also known as corrugated cardboard, is a material composed of multiple layers of paper, widely used in the packaging industry due to its lightweight, sturdy, and renewable characteristics. The manufacturing of corrugated paper mainly goes through processes such as pulp preparation, formation of kraft corrugated paper , and so on. The following will provide a detailed introduction to the process flow of kraft corrugated paper.

1.Pulp preparation:

The manufacturing of corrugated paper mainly uses waste paper as the main raw material, and pulp is prepared through processes such as waste paper grading, beating, screening, and washing. Waste paper grading is the process of distinguishing different types of paper for subsequent pulp preparation processes. Pulping is the process of mixing waste paper with water and separating the fibers of the paper through mechanical movement. Screening is the process of removing impurities from the pulp to ensure its quality. Washing pulp is the process of removing ink and other pollutants from the pulp to improve its quality.

2. Formation of kraft corrugated paper :

After the pulp preparation process, the pulp is transported to the forming area to form a separate pulp layer, which is then drained and pressed by a calender or press to reduce the moisture in the pulp layer. Next, the pulp layer forms a corrugated paper core through compression between a set of corrugated rollers and pressure rollers. The corrugated roller is composed of multiple curved paper axes, and through the movement of the corrugated roller and the pressure roller, the pulp is squeezed into a corrugated paper core.
